Recently, Shen Zhijiang, the Standing Committee of the Shaoxing Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Zhuji Municipal Party Committee, along with Dong Guanghui, the Standing Committee of the Zhuji Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Zhuji Economic Development Zone in Zhejiang Province, conducted a research visit to the Hailiang’s European headquarters. They were accompanied by Feng Luming, the Chairman of Board Director of Hailiang Group and President of Hailiang, as well as Dr. Song Xiao, Acting President of Hailiang’s European Headquarters, Co-Presidents Dr. Wu Lin and Dr. Mao Yanxin, and Dr. Gao Jingbo, an assistant dean of Mingde Institute of Hailiang Group.
Dr. Song Xiao provided an overview of Hailiang Metal Europe (HME), a subsidiary of Hailiang Group. In April 2019, Hailiang acquired the brass and copper business of European KME Group, resulting in the establishment of Hailiang Metal Europe (HME) Company. HME has five production bases located in four Western European countries, including HME Brass Germany GmbH in Berlin, Germany, HME Copper Germany GmbH in Menden, Germany, HME Brass France SAS in France, HME Brass Italy S.p.A. in Italy, and HME Ibertubos SAU in Spain. Additionally, the marketing office was set up in Paris, France.
