Recently, the Global Data Ecosystem Conference 2023 was successfully held in Shanghai, with over 20 academicians, more than 20 international organizations and national think tanks, and over 1,000 domestic and international digital business enterprises participating.
Liu Liehong, Member of the Party Group of the National Development and Reform Commission and Secretary of the Party Group as well as Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, attended the conference and delivered an important speech. He stated that the National Bureau of Statistics would focus on leveraging the multiplier effect of data elements and implement the "Data Element X" action. In key areas such as smart manufacturing, trade circulation, and healthcare, they would strengthen scenario demand traction, remove circulation barriers, improve supply quality, and promote the diverse multiplier effects of data in different scenarios.
During the award ceremony for the Data Exchange Festival, several leading trading institutions, digital business enterprises, and individuals in the data field received annual awards. Feng Luming, Board Director of Hailiang Group and President of Hailiang Corporation, was honored with the title of "Leading Figure in Annual Digital Business."
As the digital wave swept the world, the Central Committee has attached great importance to the development of the digital economy since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, elevating it to a national strategy. Hailiang, driven by digital reform, has shaped new development momentum. Integrating its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) with RFID smart identification systems, AGV intelligent handling robots, and smart vehicles, the company has upgraded to a fully automated and efficient new manufacturing management mode, envisioning the future factory. Their independently developed low-carbon intelligent fifth-generation continuous casting and rolling pipe production line boasts over a hundred invention patents and was honored with the 7th "China Industry Award."
In October of this year, Hailiang as the first private enterprise in Zhejiang Province to sign a contract, officially listed on the Shanghai Data Exchange. On the first day of listing, it completed transactions, becoming the first non-ferrous processing enterprise in China to complete data transactions on the Shanghai Data Exchange. This transaction marked a shift from the company's internal use of data to external use, further unleashing the value of data assets and laying the foundation for the release of "secondary value," demonstrating a vivid practice of Hailiang's deep and practical digitalization.
