On June 28th, the 2019 China Copper Processing Industry Annual Conference & China (Shaoxing) Copper Industry Development Summit themed as “Copper Material, New Leap Forward” were held in Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province. The conference, organized by The People’s Government of Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province, Shaoxing Municipal Bureau of Economy & Information Technology and Hailiang Group, was hosted by China Nonferrous Metals Fabrication Industry Association, Shaoxing People's Government office and Shanghai Futures Exchange.
Grand Event in Copper Industry—A Gathering of Thousands of Elites in Shaoxing
Fan Shunke, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and chairman of China Nonferrous Metals Fabrication Industry Association, presided over the opening ceremony. Chen Quanxun, president of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, and Wang Fenxiang, mayor of The People’s Government of Zhuji City, attended the conference and delivered speeches. Sheng Yuechun, mayor of Shaoxing People's Government, Zeng Jianping, deputy secretary general of National Manufacturing Strategy Advisory Committee, Bao Jianping, director of Bulk Goods Department of Shanghai Futures Exchange, and Cao Jianguo, chairman of Hailiang Group all delivered important speeches at the conference.

Explore Future—Dozens of Experts Delivered Themed Speeches
At the “Forum on Deans of China Copper-related Colleges of Materials and Research Institutes”, experts in the copper industry across the country conducted in-depth discussions on the future application areas and the development prospects of the copper industry.
The theme report was chaired by Mr. Zhang Jilin, vice chairman and secretary general of China Nonferrous Metals Fabrication Industry Association. Han Wengao, head of Economic Daily Press, Fan Shunke, director general of China Nonferrous Metals Fabrication Industry Association, Zhao Xuelong, chief engineer of Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd., Wang Weicheng from Nakao Metals Co., Ltd. (Janpan), and Academician Huang Chongqi all addressed wonderful speeches.
Concerning the four key points of “intelligent manufacturing” “the main characteristics of China’s current copper processing industry” “the main trend of China copper alloy intelligent manufacturing” and “the challenges faced by the intelligent manufacturing development”, Zhao Xuelong explained the development trend of copper processing intelligent manufacturing in China in an easy-to-understand fashion, and briefed attendees on Hailiang’s informationization construction process, high-efficiency automation of popular products and digital transformation achieved through years of R&D and upgrading.
